21 Feb DePauw University and Launch Indy Announce Partnership
Launch Indy and DePauw University have announced a strategic partnership granting DePauw University faculty, students, and staff unlimited access to Launch Indy’s coworking space and member programs. The coworking space, located in the Union 525 building, will provide DePauw access to daily open workspace as well as meeting space and networking events.
“Launch Indy has been considering ways to work with the region’s universities and colleges for some time, and we are thrilled to be collaborating with DePauw University on this program,” said Katie Birge, executive director at Launch Indy. “The goal is to provide the DePauw community with an environment to connect with the Indianapolis startup community and to offer a space for working on new ventures, internships, and training.”
In addition to the DePauw corporate membership at Launch Indy, Steve Fouty, director of DePauw’s McDermond Center along with Michael Boyles, director of the university’s Tenzer Technology Center have also opened an extension office at Union 525. Andy Cullison, Director of the Prindle Institute for Ethics, has also opened an office in the building.
“There are so many DePauw alumni success stories in the greater Indianapolis business community; and more and more recent graduates are becoming movers and shakers in the tech and startup community as well,” said Fouty. “Launch Indy, and Union 525 in general, is the perfect place for collaboration, networking, and experiential opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff,” he added.
Current students, faculty, and staff can begin collaborating with and working out of Launch Indy this semester. For more information, please contact email@example.com.
